A true vintage unicorn! Authentic late 1940s "New Look" princess coat in a rare larger size (fits modern L/XL). Sold originally at the luxury St. Louis department store Scruggs-Vandervoort-Barney. Made of Forstmann 100% Virgin Wool. Features strong padded shoulders, a nipped waist, and a flared A-line skirt.

Condition - Sold AS FOUND:
This is a wearable piece with cosmetic flaws.
Wool: Scattered moth grazes/pinholes throughout. Hard to see from a distance due to black lining, but present.
Lining: Hand-stitched repairs at armpits; seam separation at hips.
Construction: Hem coming loose in spots; missing original belt.
Cleanliness: Surface dust/marks.
