501 reproduction from the era when the Red Tab & hidden rivets were born.
In 1937, the Red Tab, an icon of Levi's, was invented, and the back style was completed to differentiate it from other companies.
The waist still has a cinch back, and the suspender buttons, which were becoming obsolete, were removed, and belt loops, which were becoming more common, were added.
And, in response to customer complaints that exposed rivets would scratch furniture and saddles, the back pockets were sewn in such a way that the rivets were hidden (hidden rivets).
