India Ornate Carved Wood Wall Shelf 1950s Vintage Home Decor

This very ornate carved wood shelf has been in my mothers house since the early 1960s. The shelf is tropical hardwood and carved in a cathedral design or scrolls and leaves.

The shelf is hinged and can fold flat for easy storage. The brass hinges are original with the original screws. The back has the original paper 1960s sticker that reads " Archana Handicrafts, Handcrafted in India".

Medium in size, the carved design is 12" tall x 7 1/2" wide or 30 cm x 19.5 cm. The shelf is 3 1/2" or 9 cm deep at the center. The entire shelf is in excellent clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no chips, scratches, dings, or cracks. The wood is moist and well cared for.
