Vintage Paden City Pottery Covered Casserole Dish 30s 40s era. In great condition. Has one flaw by the edge inside a very small hairline Crack does not go all the way thru just surface level. See pic of it. For being over 80 urars old remarkable. 10" wide and 9.5" across other direction. Stands 2.5" tall just bottom bowl without lid on.

Paden City Pottery - History

"In the early 1900s, a group of Pittsburgh investors bought three farms owned by a man name Paden located near Sisterville, West Virginia, for the purpose of creating a new industrial town. The town was named Paden City. 37.0p

Paden City Pottery, established in 1914, was the first industry in the new city. George R. Wallace, a Pittsburgh attorney was the first president. The company initially made art ware and kitchenware in brown and white."
