This is an original movie theater mylar that measures at 5 x 50 inches.
Acquired directly from a movie theater, so this may have some minor wear.
Mylars were hung above the theater doorways to help direct patrons to their
correct theater.
Most theaters have converted to digital displays so these are becoming
more and more difficult to locate. Especially these larger sized ones!
Mylars are made of a thicker material than most movie theater one-sheet posters,
designed to be more durable as a movie changes theater houses throughout
its theatrical run. Movie mylars were only created double-sided from
1996-2012. Modern and older mylars are not usually double-sided.
