By using four strands of fine-count Suvin cotton yarn, the fabric is finished to provide a smooth feel and the luster unique to Suvin cotton, even with its substantial weight. Regular high-gauge knits are made with 16-18 gauge, but because thinner knits can accentuate the body's lines, this is made with a 14-gauge, densely knit construction.
The shape is a classic V-neck cardigan. The slightly wider fully fashioned front placket allows it to be worn both casually and formally. The buttons are thin shell buttons, and the cuffs are turn-up style.
