Vintage carved wood Thai musician figurines, offered as a matching pair on gold-painted wooden bases. One figure holds a lute-style stringed instrument, while the other represents a drummer with an attached drum. Hand-carved with detailed painted and gilt decoration, accented with green jewel-like details and a distinctive crackle/craquelure finish that gives the figures an aged, artisan appearance.
Condition is good vintage condition with expected wear from age and display. Crackle finish is present throughout and appears intentional. Light scuffs and paint wear are visible on the bases and raised areas. Please note: the drummer figure appears to be missing its original drumsticks. Otherwise complete and displays beautifully.
