Vintage metal and enamel heraldic pin marked “WIEN," representing Vienna during the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The piece features a dark, relief-style double-headed eagle, a symbol widely used throughout the empire and associated with Austrian imperial authority. At the center is a red-and-white shield, framed by a circular border decorated with alternating red and light enamel panels, a style common in early 20th-century Viennese souvenir and patriotic badges.

The reverse shows an early pinback assembly consistent with WWI-era Austrian tourist and civic pins, produced before the dissolution of Austria-Hungary in 1918. Items from this period often highlighted imperial motifs and were sold in Vienna as keepsakes reflecting local identity and historic heraldry.
