From the details and design, it's from around the 1940s.

Length (measured from the back): 67cm
Shoulder width (from shoulder seam to seam): 45cm
Width (measured around the armpits): 49cm
Sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 55cm
Sleeve length (from center of neck to cuff): 76cm

I, at 165cm/53kg and slim, could wear it with a good look, and the sleeves covered about half of my hands.
It also looks cute rolled up.

Depending on preference and how you wear it, it's recommended for people around ~170cm tall!!!

It's a deep burgundy color.

The contrast between the cotton thread and the burgundy buttons gives it the aura unique to old vintage items.

【Condition】
It's an old product, but currently, I don't see any moth-eaten areas, and there are no holes, nor do I feel any thinning of the fabric due to moth-eaten damage.

Sometimes, with wool products from this era, even if the storage condition seems poor, you find items without moth damage, so perhaps some measures were taken.

It's in a condition that's fine even for those who aren't fond of old wool products ^ ^

【Remarks】
It's a cardigan without a brand tag, which is often seen in old vintage items (the one at the neck is a quality label).

It's just my subjective opinion, but although the actual measurements are tight, perhaps because of the three-dimensional construction, it doesn't feel as constricting as the measurements suggest.

The argyle design on the front is three-dimensional due to the stitching,

As those involved in clothing manufacturing would understand, it's a subtle but very elaborate detail.

The fact that the color change ends inside the pockets is also a detail that takes your breath away, despite its simplicity.

(Especially the intersecting parts... thinking about the manufacturing process gives me chills...)

More like a work of art than clothing, it has an antique feel.
