Hot Air Fan Stirling Engine Model Toy

I’m not going to lie, I had to research what this was! It is a stirling engine model—a closed-cycle heat engine that converts thermal energy into mechanical work by cyclically heating and cooling a sealed working gas (like air or helium) between hot and cold reservoirs, causing it to expand and contract, moving pistons to generate power (thanks Google). From what I can gather, you fill the small jar with alcohol and light the wick, and the heat produced spins the fan. It does not come with an instruction manual, but you can find lots of these online that have accompanying instructions/videos. This model has never been used and is in perfect condition! Most of the ones I’ve seen online sell in the $140-190 range. This is a cool gadget and would be a great gift for a mechanically-minded kid or adult! It also just looks cool as a desk decoration.
