The OG style 36, which Old Skools are based on, remixed with signature ALYX details including a silver-tone lighter cap laced through glitter laces. Packaged with a silver ALYX pin and regular laces. The heel is also accented with Alyx's Spring/Summer 2017 collection title "Love Chaos."
The Alyx version stays true to the specs of the original Style #36, albeit it with some subtle twists (it wouldn't be a one-off if Williams just exhumed an old shoe, right?). The words "love" and "chaos" are embossed on the heels, a pink Vans logo tab has been added near the top lace loop, and glittery pink laces give off pure '90s mall rat nostalgia. None of it's terribly radical nor screams for attention—that's not the point (and if you're more into heavy branding, there's a version of the Vans Authentic in the Alyx collaborative set that has the Alyx logo printed along the midsole).
