Beautiful, vintage Takahashi of San Francisco two-handled platter/serving tray in the Antiqua pattern – embossed grape clusters with grapevines and a basket weave design in shades of purple, green, tan and ivory. Done in the Majolica style, this whimsical platter measures 16" across, 10 ¾" wide, and 1" high. Marking states “Hand Painted Takahashi San Francisco." Sticker states “Takahashi San Francisco 94103 Made in Japan."
Please note: This platter is in very good, used vintage condition. But please keep in mind, it is over 30 years old and therefore, not new. There are no cracks or damage. But there are two small chips on one handle, and in a grape leaf. I don’t feel these would be noticeable if the platter was put on display. Please see photos #1, #8, #9, and #10. Glare from camera.
