Description:
This is an original early 20th-century photograph of a rare experimental triplane glider. This "pioneer era" image shows the aircraft positioned on a tall wooden launching derrick, likely dating between 1905 and 1910. The photo has nice clarity and shows great detail of the triple-wing construction. On the back, there is a period pencil notation that reads: "glidder readying for flight. site unknown." A very unique find for any aviation or early technology collector.
