Vintage bamboo fly rod, manufactured by Heddon in 1940s-1960s, this was your simple blue collar rod back in the day!
Includes original steel tube case, and original cloth rod section holder.
Perfect rod to restore if you are looking to rebuild a bamboo rod. Also great for any collector.
Specs were from a more simpler time that pre-dated how we classify rods (i.e. by wt). Per an Orvis conversion chart (see last photo) this is a 6 or 7 wt by today’s standards.
