Features unique craftsmanship, with emphasis to an ornate rare antique Victorian 1800's W&SB☆ gold filled gemstone locket w original photos. This locket is in excellent condition for its age. The interior does have the original photos of 2 Victorian men. The class on left is cracked the photo chamber on right is missing the glass insert. The clear 4mm gemstone is flawless, prong set. Unknown what type of stone. It sparkles like a diamond, but my diamond tester reads it is gemstone but not diamond.
The W.S. Blackinton company operated in Meriden, CT. The Blackinton brothers founded this company in 1865. They specialized in gold jewelry.
